jots , Al Anderson '06 release of After Hours is one is look at . The CD still gets listened to several times a year . His '07 Pawn Shop Guitars is more NRBQish , but really hard to find . I went to many a NRBQ show in the '80's as it was their home turf so to speak .

Got to interview them for college radio back in early '80s - were playing at Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. They messed with me hard. Saw them a bunch throughout early to mid-80s. With that said, sad RIP to Root Boy SLim (another I saw many a great bar night).
Even saw them open for REM right after loma prieta earthquake in Concord - great, great show by both acts.

I had never heard of Root Boy Slim , " The Lenny Bruce of Music ". Nothing like taking too much LSD and knuckling under on the White House lawn , " the center of the universe " , with your friends in the Secret Service . If his aliment was correct , it's amazing he still had the energy and clarity to have such a full life .
And what a life . What a bad bad boy . The video .
The monologue through the sniper rifle , "in front of the swank Party Doll Lounge " . " It's not for the weak , in fact not even for the strong ." I would like his outfit including cape and the Stoned glasses . " I start with port , drink two or three quarts ." Hmm . Queasy . I have never seen anyone put there head inside a bass drum , especially while someone is playing it . You gotta check the vid out kids . More fun on the way to the ending .
Even Mr. Precision himself , Donald Fagen liked him .
Thank-you BD .

And yes , no Henry without sweet , sweet Anais .

Your are correct JOTS...I've been trapped in hell in for a while now: (Central Ohio). Need any medical billers up there in AK? You still working the hospital? Hook a brother up...
Cereal...you still on Cedarwood in Wasilla? I would be
more than happy to hook you up with the NRBQ I have some
time. I will hit ur email if its still the same one I have.
